How long should I burn my candle on the first burn?

When you light your candle for the first time, allow the wax to burn so that it melts across the entire surfaces to the edge of the container. The will stop tunnelling, and help the candle burn evenly so you get the most out of the candle.

How should I store my candle?

Like most things, try to store your candles in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. This will stop an potential discolouration or fading.

How often should I trim the wick of my candle?

Try to make sure your wick is about 5mm at all times. As a rule of thumb, trim your wick every 3 hours of burn time. When trimming, always extinguish the flame and let the candle cool to room temperature, remove any wick debris and trim the wick before relighting. This will prevent mushrooming and sooting.
